Meet Cristina!

I'm a Registered Psychotherapist, Art Therapist, and lifelong artist who believes in the healing power of creativity, connection, and authenticity. My path to becoming a therapist began with my own long journey through mental health challenges—something I'm still learning to navigate. My lived experience shaped my deep empathy and fuels my commitment to creating a space where others feel seen, safe, and supported.

Even as a child, friends would jokingly call me "the therapist"—something that stuck with me and eventually became a calling. My approach is organic and eclectic, rooted in client-centred care- I like to keep things casual, down to earth, and organic in session. No pressure, no pretense, just a space where you can come as you are. I draw from a range of modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), always adapting to what feels right for each individual.

I work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, neurodivergence, emotional regulation, identity, and life transitions. I invite clients to explore not only through conversation, but also through art. Art therapy is available as an expressive tool, but never required. You don't need to have any art experience to benefit from it. Whether we’re using words, images, or a combination of both, you are welcome exactly as you are.
