Why Choose Our Camp?

Creative + Somatic Expression

Daily therapeutic art activities designed to help children process emotions, release stress, build self-esteem, and have fun. Campers learn emotional regulation, social skills, and problem-solving through exploratory activities.

Small Groups = More Support!

With a maximum of 10-12 campers per week, we ensure that every child receives individualized attention and support from our art therapists. This small group setting fosters a sense of belonging and connection among campers.

Facilitated by Art Psychotherapists

Our team of experienced art therapists specializes in supporting children of all abilities, fostering a safe and nurturing environment where they feel empowered to explore, express, and grow.

Camp Activities

Each day includes a mix of…

🎨 Art Projects: Campers will explore a wide range of materials and techniques from painting and sculpting to mixed media creations. These process-focused projects encourage self-expression, creativity, and confidence without pressure for a “perfect” outcome.

🤝 Group Activities: Fun team-building games and collaborative art-making activities foster connection and a sense of belonging. Reflective discussions allow campers to share their experiences, build empathy, and practice important social skills.

🧘 Mindfulness Practices: Gentle exercises like breathing techniques, grounding activities, and mindful movement are incorporated to help campers develop emotional regulation and relaxation skills.

Somatic Expression and Reflection: Campers will learn to tune into their bodies and express emotions through movement, sensory play, and tactile art materials. Guided reflection helps them connect with their feelings and understand how emotions are stored and released.

🌟 Connection and Collaboration: Opportunities for group art projects and shared experiences encourage campers to form meaningful relationships, practice communication, and celebrate each other’s unique strengths.

🎭 Process Art Exploration: Campers are encouraged to enjoy the creative journey, focusing on how art helps them explore thoughts, feelings, and new ideas rather than focusing on the finished product. This approach builds confidence and nurtures a sense of curiosity and self-discovery.

Our activities are carefully balanced to provide structure, variety, and opportunities for campers to express themselves, connect with others, and grow in a supportive and fun environment.

The Intake + Registration Process

To ensure the best possible experience for your child, we require a parent/caregiver-only video intake session before registration is complete.
This intake allows us to:

  • Understand your child’s emotional, social, and developmental needs.

  • Plan personalized strategies for success during camp.

How to Register:

  1. Step 1: Complete the Registration Form
Start by filling out our online registration form (via THIS GOOGLE FORM). This form gathers important details about your child, such as their interests, any relevant medical or emotional needs, and your goals for their participation in camp.

  2. Step 2: Schedule the Intake Session
After submitting the registration form, you’ll receive a link to book a 30-minute intake session with Lauren. This session will be conducted through a secure video platform and must be completed before your child’s registration is confirmed.
